Tim StockilTim Stockil

Personal impact, Influencing, Negotiation, Leadership and Teamwork.

Tim has worked with SpokenWord since 2008, when time permits, and specialises in delivering courses on the “soft skills” – personal impact, influencing, negotiation, presentations, leadership and teamwork. He is an expert facilitator and coach.

Specialisations
Tim set up his own company, Ci:Creative Intelligence, in April 2005 and has created ground-breaking programmes in areas such as corporate governance, leadership and negotiation skills, both for business executives and for managers in arts organisations. The Persuasive Communications Programme which he developed in 1994 in association with W H Smith won one of the British Government’s prestigious National Training Awards.

In 2008, Tim won two more National Training Awards for a major programme on values and behaviours for ITV plc, the largest commercial broadcaster in Europe.

Tim has delivered creative training programmes for a wide variety of businesses and government clients such as Zurich, Ernst & Young, Ashridge Management Centre, the Housing Corporation, the National Archives, Unilever, Marks & Spencer, Legal & General, Pfizer, Scottish Courage and the RAC amongst many others.

Professional
Tim read French at Oxford University (BA Hons, MA) before training as a director at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He worked in the theatre for ten years before changing direction and moving into training and development. He took his Certificate of Training and Development (CiTD) in 1990.

Tim is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the International Advisory Council of the world-renowned Banff Leadership Centre in Canada and a trustee of Cheek by Jowl, the innovative international theatre company.
